I'm still spending quite a bit of spare time in Blender. I've come a long ways from 2 years ago where I was struggling with the donut tutorial. I've become fairly comfortable with character modeling and I can do enough rigging to get by. Here's what who's come along so far;
Remember Eyeball Wizard? I named him Eyebo but have been naming all his files Eeebo so I guess that's his name now.

Look everyone it's the unnamed site mascot! I default to calling her J...for Jester.

I felt I needed another medieval figure to occupy their werid 3D world so I came up with this guy. I wanted him to be a kind of vain pretty boy knight. I don't think he's a knight more like he stands around in armor and pretends to be one for clout.
I tried my hand at building a castle last night but gave into a fit of despair. Today I watched Louie Zong's video how I approach illustration in Blender! and it inspired me to approach the process from a new angle (litearlly). Blender is such an amazing piece of software but it's also crazy intimidating. When you you get caught up in the sea of tutorials you can wind up chasing that white whale named Technical Proficiency and can wind up just not making the art you set out to make. My ultimate goal is build some weird little games by rendering 3D models into compressed 2D sprites. If the process is quick and dirty (and the uv maps are hideous) so be it!
